Article Details

The Material Station has a built-in dehumidifier, designed to keep the relative humidity inside the chamber low and stable. The target for S series is 25%, and 15% for Factor 4, but always below 40%. For more general information about the dehumidifier, please visit this page:

Humidity control in the Material Station

The dehumidifier is self-regenerating, normally works unnoticed in the background, and will only give notifications if a problem has been detected. The Material Station has two error messages that relate to the dehumidifier. Both messages can be dismissed to temporarily continue normal operation. However, note that dehumidifier issues may have a negative impact on the quality of the materials inside the Material Station if not resolved timely.

ER67 - The dehumidifier is not working correctly

The Material Station performs a self-check on the dehumidifier. If a problem with the connection or the hardware components is detected, ER67 will show on the display of the printer. This could refer to a problem with the dehumidifier assembly, the humidity sensor, or one of the wires connecting the components.

ER68 - The humidity inside the Material Station is high

If the humidity inside the Material Station is above 40% for a prolonged period of time, ER68 will show on the display. Note that this error is disabled for the first 12 hours after the Material Station is powered on, to allow the dehumidifier sufficient time to restore the internal humidity.

Note: On the S5 Pro Bundle, if you see ER68 immediately after powering on, you are likely running very outdated firmware. Please update to the most recent version.
