Your UltiMaker Account is the first step into unlocking a streamlined 3D printing workflow. There are several benefits to creating an UltiMaker Account, even if you don't own any UltiMaker 3D printers! See below how and where you can use your account:
UltiMaker Digital Factory
In the Digital Factory, you can add your printers to enable remote printing and print job management via the cloud. You can see the status and configuration of all your UltiMaker printers, and queue print jobs if all printers are currently busy. Additionally, you can collaborate with others by forming teams and saving projects to the Digital Library.

Note: The UltiMaker Digital Factory is currently only compatible with selected UltiMaker 3D printers and does not support third-party printer brands.
Marketplace
Use the UltiMaker Marketplace to download print profiles for UltiMaker 3D printers from leading materials companies. You can also find many plugins for UltiMaker Cura that can improve your Cura workflows, also with non-UltiMaker 3D printers.

UltiMaker Cura
If you sign in with your UltiMaker Account in UltiMaker Cura, you have access to all your configured printers, materials, profiles, and plugins. You can also easily create backups.
Tip: When using UltiMaker Cura without an UltiMaker Account, you can install material profiles and plugins via the in-app Marketplace panel. These will then be stored locally on your computer. To install plugins via the Marketplace browser and to synchronize your Cura experience across multiple devices, you do need an UltiMaker Account.
