An UltiMaker account is not required to download and install plugins from the Marketplace via Cura directly. UltiMaker Cura offers additional functionality provided by community developers through the UltiMaker Marketplace. Plugins are freely available and they are stored locally on your computer.
Installation steps
Plugins can be installed directly via UltiMaker Cura. Simply click the Marketplace button to open the panel. Scroll through the list or use the search bar to find your preferred plugins. Click Install and restart Cura to start using the package(s).

Note: When visiting the marketplace.ultimaker.com web portal to install plugins directly into Cura, you will need an UltiMaker account to synchronize your changes. An UltiMaker account also allows you to synchronize your Cura experience across multiple devices.
