This update brings comprehensive improvements to your daily printing, including intelligent workflow safeguards, smooth screen navigation, better material handling, faster cloud monitoring, and enterprise-grade privacy. Below are the key benefits and practical workflow advancements introduced in this release.

• Intelligent Print Head Homing. The printer now tracks print head position state using an intelligent motion state machine, eliminating unnecessary and repetitive homing cycles between operations to speed up your workflow and reduce mechanical noise.
• Smart Compatibility Checks. Eliminate guesswork and avoid wasted operator time before your print begins. The printer now automatically scans incoming sliced print files upon loading to verify that all required software features are supported by the active firmware. If a job requires newer firmware capabilities, clear guidance appears on the touchscreen before heating begins, protecting your material and scheduling.
• Automatic Collision Prevention for Multi-Part Projects. Printing batches of parts sequentially in "One-at-a-Time" mode significantly boosts production output. If a print job is ever canceled or stopped prematurely, the printer now automatically calculates safe clearance heights above all finished models on the bed before traveling home, eliminating print head collisions and protecting your valuable prints.
• Hardware-Accelerated, Fluid Touchscreen Interface. Experience a modern, highly responsive display interface. By upgrading the display engine to a hardware-accelerated graphics pipeline, browsing folders, tweaking print parameters, and navigating calibration wizards is now silky-smooth, instantaneous, and completely lag-free.
• Refined High-Speed Motion Quality & Arc Smoothing. Experience crisper corners, cleaner detail, and smoother surface finishes. We upgraded the motion controller trajectory planning with optimized arc blending during rapid travel transitions, eliminating micro-stutters and delivering superior surface aesthetics at high print speeds.
• Precision Filament Loading & Tool Selection. Material loading is now more dependable than ever. Enhanced tool selection routines ensure the active extruder is explicitly commanded during material insertion moves, guaranteeing that filament always feeds smoothly into the intended print core every time.
• Touchscreen Emergency Stop Display Stability. Safety mechanisms should communicate clearly without visual distraction. We resolved screen flickering and display freezes when the physical emergency stop button is pressed, ensuring the touchscreen remains steady and immediately displays a clear status message.
• Clearer Multi-Language Touchscreen Guidance. Troubleshooting is faster and easier for global teams. We updated the touchscreen localization engine with revised, user-friendly descriptions and translations for diagnostic error codes, providing straightforward instructions to resolve minor issues on the spot.
• Enterprise Network Privacy & Fast Wi-Fi QR Setup. Engineered for strict corporate and industrial IT environments, diagnostic log exports now automatically scrub and protect sensitive network credentials such as Wi-Fi passwords. Furthermore, connecting the printer to Wi-Fi via QR code scanning features enhanced retry protection for smooth, secure network onboarding.
• Reliable Material Station Prefeeder Automation. Continuous manufacturing requires flawless filament management. We updated the integrated Material Station prefeeder routines, eliminating false filament warnings and ensuring smooth, uninterrupted spool-to-spool changes across demanding multi-material projects.

Note: Firmware 11.2.4 was originally released on the Latest channel on August 18, 2026, and promoted to Stable on September 29, 2026.

When updating to 11.2.4 on the Stable channel, this version contains the combined features of 11.2.4 and 11.2.2.

• Hardware support. (11.2.4 update) This version includes behind-the-scenes support for updated hardware components used in UltiMaker production.
• Security updates. (11.2.2 update) Updated root certificate stores for Digital Factory endpoints and implemented a strict Content Security Policy (CSP) on the local web server.
• Bug fixes. (11.2.2 update) Restored local webcam stream availability and resolved touchscreen flickering when attempting to reprint an aborted USB job.
