As of May 2024, UltiMaker TPU 95A (2.85 mm filament) will be produced by a different supplier.
The new UltiMaker TPU 95A will have an overall improved quality and reliability. Moisture control has greatly improved in the filament and packaging. As a result, the new TPU 95A can be used directly out of the box, in contrast to the previous TPU 95A which always has to be pre-dried before usage.
Note: To ensure reliable material handling, the new product is available on 700 g spools instead of 750 g.
New SKUs
To avoid confusion, the new TPU95A will be introduced with new product numbers. Additionally, new company branding is implemented on the product.
- UltiMaker TPU 95A Red = 236590
- UltiMaker TPU 95A White = 236591
- UltiMaker TPU 95A Black = 236592
- UltiMaker TPU 95A Blue = 236593
Note: Colors are matched, but small differences can be visible.
Continued printing experience
Despite some differences, the new UltiMaker TPU 95A handles the same as the previous TPU 95A material. Testing and product documentation confirmed that the same information can be used:
