UltiMaker Cura, our open-source slicing software, is developed and maintained by UltiMaker developers together with community contributors via the developer platform GitHub. Cura is compatible with all UltiMaker 3D printer models and offers a wide range of preset third-party printers to select from.
If you want to learn how to add a preset printer to Cura, visit this page for instructions. If your printer model is not in the list, you can also add a custom printer. However, if you would like your printer model to be added to the list of preset printers in Cura, this can be requested via GitHub.
Tip: Anyone can contribute to Cura, but it is recommended that third-party printer definitions are added by the printer manufacturers. End users are advised to contact their manufacturer.
Note: UltiMaker is only responsible for adding UltiMaker branded 3D printers. All third-party machines are added by community members or printer manufacturers. UltiMaker cannot provide support for missing printer definitions.
