If during operation of the PVA Removal Station, the rotor stops and the rotor speed LEDs blink in a pattern, the PVA Removal Station has encountered an error. If both LEDs flash three times, then pause for 1 second, this is error code 3.
This error indicates that the device has overheated. This would normally be preceded by an overheating warning, during which the PVA Removal Station will attempt to cool down automatically. When this is not possible, this error message will be shown.
When this happens, perform the following actions:
- Cool down
- Keep the PVA Removal Station turned off for 30 minutes to let it cool down completely.
- Place the PVA Removal Station in a cooler environment. The recommended operating temperature range is 15 - 32ºC. If the PVA Removal Station is close to an external heat source, either move the PVA Removal Station to a different location or disable the heat source.
- High saturation levels of the water increase the motor load. Empty the container and clean the rotor before refilling the container with clean water to optimize the performance of the PVA Removal Station.
- Water temperature
- Only use cold water to fill the container. Too high water temperatures will damage or deform most printed parts or even the container. Do not fill the device with other liquids. Do not use the PVA Removal Station or place printed parts in the container when the temperature label in the container turns red.
After performing these checks and taking corrective actions, restart the PVA Removal Station to continue operation.
