Trouble with logging into Cura on Mac OSX

On Mac computers running the OSX operating systems, you may encounted issues with Cura when trying to log into your Ultimaker account. In this case the access control in the Keychain application may not be properly configured for Cura. Below you'll find instructions on how the access should be configured and how to solve it.

  1. Open the finder (command + spacebar), type 'Keychain', and press return to open the Keychain app.
  2. In the upper right corner of Keychain search for 'Cura' and the Cura items will show up

  • Thank you for this great and detailed explanation!
    It works well now !

The latest version of Cura which was working was Cura 4.8.0. Now, with your help, I can successfully Sign In with the latest Cura 4.12.0 on Mac OS10.13.6.

KeyChain application is in 'Utilities' folder which is inside the 'Applications' folder. It can also easily be found by using Spotlight for non-English langages: just type 'KeyChain' in Spotlight and the translate name application will appears.
