Using the Ultimaker 3D Printing Academy

The Ultimaker 3D Printing Academy is Ultimaker's e-learning platform. It is currently only available for Ultimaker Essentials Early Access subscribers or Ultimaker customers who register their Ultimaker printer.

Upon its general launch later this year, this platform will give learners access a wide variety of courses for everyone from novice to expert. The courses will range from basics of fused filament fabrication (FFF) and Ultimaker product trainings to learning plans for IT admins and application engineers. You will then be able to access the Ultimaker 3D Printing Academy via academy.ultimaker.com.

Who is the Ultimaker Academy for?

The Ultimaker 3D Printing Academy is aimed at companies that want to maximize the use of their printers, up-skill their teams and drive the adoption of 3D printing. The Ultimaker Academy offers learning plans for application engineers, printer operators and IT admins as well as product onboarding courses.

The Ultimaker 3D Printing Academy is currently only available for Ultimaker Essentials Early Access subscribers or customers who register their Ultimaker printer.

Organizations that subscribe to Ultimaker Essentials will be able to provide their users with access to courses within the Academy. During Ultimaker Essentials Early Access they will have access to the IT Admin learning plan.

How do sign up for Ultimaker Academy?

Your Ultimaker Account automatically gains access to the Ultimaker Academy if your organization is signed up for Ultimaker Essentials.

Alternatively, you can register your product at ultimaker.com/register and receive an enrollment link to a product onboarding course. To use this link you’ll have to sign in with your Ultimaker account.
