The print profile quick menu in Ultimaker Cura

Ultimaker Cura provides the ability to quickly save, share and manage your print profiles to keep an efficient workflow. This page explains how to work with profiles to get the most out of your 3D printing experience using the print profile quick menu.

The print profile quick menu is located in the print settings panel when the custom mode is active. 

  1. Star icon. Indicates the selected profile contains unsaved profile changes
  2. Quick menu. Click here to access the quick menu
  3. Default profiles. These profiles are distributed by Ultimaker and are available to all printers
  4. Intent profiles. These intent profiles are specialized to print with specific printing strategies. Intent profiles have limited availability, depending on the active configuration
  5. Custom profiles. These profiles are your user saved profiles
  6. Create profile from current settings/overrides. Quickly creates a new profile from the current active printing strategy
  7. Update profile with current settings/overrides. Quickly updates the current profile with all unsaved changes. (This is unavailable for default and intent profiles, as they are read-only.)
  8. Discard current changes. Quickly discard the current profile changes and revert to the currently active print profile
  9. Manage profiles. Opens the profiles manager
