About the UltiMaker Material Alliance Program and the UltiMaker Marketplace
The UltiMaker Marketplace offers end-users print profiles that enrich their toolpath, thus substantially improving printing reliability and printing quality. End-users can install these print profiles directly from the UltiMaker Marketplace with the click of a button.
The UltiMaker Material Alliance Program allows filament companies to offer their products in the UltiMaker Marketplace. Companies can upload their print profiles and provide extensive information. Together, UltiMaker and Materials companies offer our joint end users unprecedented hassle-free, first-time-right-printing, and ease of use.
How to install print profiles in UltiMaker Cura?
In the UltiMaker Marketplace, materials can be filtered on brand, polymer class, material characteristics, and filling. Users can also look for materials compatible with a certain printer, print core, or nozzle. For S series products, users can filter on compatibility with the Material Station and Air Manager.
When selecting a specific material, see the material description, profile release notes, and compatible printers and support materials. The Marketplace contains general information on why to use certain materials and links to printing guidelines, safety data sheets, and technical data sheets.
From this material overview, click the Add to Cura button. This will install the profile in UltiMaker Cura if you are signed in with your UltiMaker Account. The next time you open UltiMaker Cura and sign in, your newly installed materials will be available.
Tip: Material profiles can also be installed via the Marketplace plugin in Cura. This does not require an UltiMaker Account, but the material profiles will only be available in this instance of Cura.

If you are a Material Alliance Partner and you have technical questions from developers, also fill out the case form . Please choose the Filament or material issue form, and select Yes for the question Are you part of the Material Alliance (developers only)?. This ensures your request is routed correctly.
For specific material or support questions, contact the corresponding material partner in the Marketplace.

How can I join the UltiMaker Material Alliance Program?
If you are a material manufacturer and you want to add your profiles to the Marketplace, you can request to join the Material Alliance Program. Please fill in the case submission form and someone from the UltiMaker team will contact you soon. Follow the steps below to ensure your request is routed correctly.

Provide a clear description of your request and materials
For the question Are you part of the Material Alliance (developers only)? select Yes.
In the next screen, you can add attachments, if applicable.
